The "F" drive is quite likely the recovery partition for HP.  You don't 
need to defrag it at all, and you should really leave it alone to avoid 
causing any problems if you ever do have to restore your machine to its 
original condition.  Your machine does not access it on a regular basis, 
so you should be looking elsewhere for the cause of your slowdown.
