Hi Steve,

Remember in the set of radio buttons, you can have it spell alpha numeric or 
spell phonetically.  Just go back into the settings as described and set it 
to the spell setting--not the spell phonetically.  That way it will just say 
m p 3 player rather than Mike Papa 3 player.

Thanks for posting this.  I knew someone  could do a better job of
describing this  than I  could.

Here are a few quirks I found in the short time playing with it:

Suppose it comes with the territory, but something like "mp3 player" is now
read as "mike papa three player".  I may  wind up setting this feature  only
to programs where I expect to be reading call signs.

If a call has  a letter"n" followed by a number, it reads it as a date:
N7ABC is read as "November seventh alpha bravo charlie".

The real speak voice pronounces "Lima" for the letter L as the Lima in Lima
bean,  and not as Lima the capital of Peru.

Just kind of nit picking.  I'm sure others will pop up, but I like this
feature very much.
