Hello fellow radio enthusiasts:

I must say that my radio interest, (both amateur radio and scanning), have
been somewhat on the back burner for the past few years. However, last june,
I purchased a Uniden BCD996T digital trunk-tracking scanner. Converting the
PDF version of the owner's manual has not worked well at all, given the
amount of graphics in the document.

Has anyone here played around with this scanner? Basically, I can't do
anything with it. Other agendas have cropped up since June, what with
summertime activities, but with time being more available in the winter, I
really would like to be able to use this $500 toy!

Thanks for any help any of you might be able to provide.
