Hi Angel,
Thank you for your message, and thank you also for your support and being
here on the list and speaking up. You help me to be more confident about
speaking up as well.
I haven't seen that version of the bible. I am thinking of getting it
though. I do have the apocrypha often called the deutercanonicle books of
the bible. You can get some of the books in braille from the xavier society.
I downloaded it from bookshare.org and I may as well have downloaded it from
Web braille. It is, I am quite certain, available from Project Gutenberg
which can be easily accessed through either Kurzweil or Openbook programs.
I really enjoy reading them. They are really quite beautiful.
Blessings,
Sheila and Vinnie

let all be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in
spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving
a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might
inherit a blessing." (I Peter 3: 7-9)

:I love you for saying this. This is just what we believe. It is good to
: have such support on the list. It is amazing. I got this contemporary
: English Version of the bible with the apocrypha from the Lutheran Braille
: Evangelism Association. It has along with it Luther's Little Catechism.
I
: read it and it isn't so different than the basics of our faith. It is
: amazing how similar the Lutherans who were the first protestants, or was
: that Henry viii, is to The Catholic faith.
