Hi;
No, I'm not totally stuck on speech, the p2000 cw watt meter kind of 
convinced me along with the t90 that cw works quite well.  Are you using 
this as your main radio or as a second qrp rig?  Also once one gets this 
built and working, if there is a problem a year from now does elcraft do any 
servicing or do you have to get back to someone who builds the radio?

If you've really got your heart set on speech (they couldn't
implement it very easily in this radio due to CUP and memory
constraints, as I understand), you can use some free software
available from Elecraft, which runs on any Windows PC.

I don't know if he does them free for blind hams or not, but I can
enthusiastically recommend Alan, W1HYV, to build for you. He does
excelleent work.
