On May 26, Gretchen will go before the diversionary board. This is the
program she has been in which would, if she completed the classes and stayed
clean, erase her felony record from the police computers. Gretchen's case
worker has let us know that Gretchen has flunked all of her recent drug
tests and she has attended none of the classes. Strange, because last
Monday night, Gretchen told us she knew at least 12 people in the class she
attend Monday night and she even knew a guy by the name of Phil Gordon who
used to be a friend of my youngest son, Everett, when they were in Christian
school together. The case worker said Gretchen never showed up to that
class. So, in other words, she lied about the whole thing. The board will
send her back to go before a judge. He will decide if she goes to prison or
if she gets put on probation. This means she will keep the felony record
for the rest of her life, and it means she will likely be assigned to more
drug classes. So, in short, things are not looking good for Gretchen at
all.

Phil.
