there's a speech chip for it, it's FM only with AM receive if you want it,
it does speak the PL tones. I don't think there are any all mode radios
anymore for 2 meters and 440 other than the Icom 910H and for that price you
might as well get a 706 or a ts-2000. I've never had a problem with intermod
on the tm-g707, but there are a couple settings to reduce it should you
experience some and from the reviews I've read, they work. Only thing it
doesn't have that some do is receiving 2 bands at once but I just leave mine
in scan, I have too much to listen to here in the house anyway with my
scanner, computer, and what ever else I'm using at the time so I don't find
that to be a problem, I run mine all the time when I'm here and it's a hard
worker.

   tell me about the "TM-G 707 A".  Is it all mode, how do you set the
tones, and does it have options to keep out inter mod, and does it have
Speech??  I assume it does.
