i have raised two kids on raw undenatured paleo foods . as early as few
weeks they had foods available to them to chew on , things like celery,
dried meats .fruits we also chewed for them hard foods like nuts etc.. they
never ate any mixed foods so they could choose by instinct what they wanted
.
babies gums are very pwerfull they could suck out of the driest piece of dry
meat any substance to leave some tasteless fibers .

by presenting foods in their raw state on their own you can bypass any risk
of allergy to foods ( that happens when the body is forced to eat what it
will not have chosen to eat if the foods aroma are diguised behind the
aromas of the mix.

even if you have no intention to raise them on raw foods i will strongly
recomend anybody to sat a baby with raw undenatured foods ...
to my own surprise for having been raised on cooked foods , my childrens
have no desires to eat cooked or even raw mixed foods they just like it
plain and simple .
they don't even consider unrecognisable foods ( because mixed or cooked )
as not foods they are 7 and half and 3 and half .
good luck in your exploration of human feeding instincts !

PS also to note their main food have been breast milk up to 4 years old (
weaned himself one day before the birth of his sister) for the oldest and
till now for the youngest .
not to be in hurry to introduce foods nor be afraid to makes available very
early ( they can compensate for any insuficiencies in breast milk with
instinctivelly chosen raw foods .
