Listers,

I've used an external tuner for years. At one time, I had a tuner with a jack
installed across the meter and used that. When I acquired my Icom 751, I just
measured SWR using its meter with an external tuner. I used the MFJ 929
first, then switched to the MFJ 986.

With my TS-2000, I generally use an external tuner but that isn't really
necessary. I used the P-2000CW to read SWR.
