I know this wasn't asked of me Helen, but another couple we are watching go
through a tough time just now is my brother who is boozing again and his
girlfriend who is sticking with him.
My anger says that she should get out now and find someone more deserving of
her love but I haven't voiced it to her yet.
We don't talk to the brother right now but I hear he has checked himself
into treatment again.
Just for a week though.
I think, if over time someone hasn't truly addressed their problem with
drugs and alcohol that the other person should get out of the relationship
for their own health's sake.
