actually the confederate flag was dunped a couple of
years ago in a midnight session of the legislature.
lots of complaints.  the new governor wanted to go
back, let the people vote. i think he knew the
majority would go back to the pre-1956 flag that had
no confederate battle flag as part of it. it was not
anti confederate since the klan and other groups had
wheyleighed the flag for their purposes.
once it was voted on then the issue hopefully would be
put to bed altogether.

if you want anti confederate, there is a group that
wants to take the conferate memorial off of stone
mountain.
