You may be right for Budweiser, but one problem with
this is that to create natural selection, a problem
has to kill people before they reach childbearing age.
Budweiser may in rare cases do that, but generally
speaking the effect of a McDonalds diet is probably
going to manifest itself as whether we die at the age
of 55 or 75, and hence I doubt that it would push us
to adapt to it. We can actually fare quite well on a
diet of McDonalds, unfortunately, although we get
burdened with all the problems like diabetes and CHD
that accompany it. Speaking theoretically (I'm not a
eugenicist at all) the human species is essentially in
a position where it is difficult for evolutionary
pressure to work on us.
