I would consider that advanced. When cars still had them, precious few
folks could dx a carb problem--unless you were "into" cars at the time as I
was.

I just physically can't work on cars any more--a frustrating position when
you know what's the problem yet have to pay someone else to do the repair.

*raises eyebrow* And I considered myself automotively advanced when I deiced
the butterfly valve in the carburator on cold mornings when I was in grad
school. ;-)

day soon. Actually, I have some fairly ominous noises coming from the
rear
suspension. Might be cheaper to replace than repair. Especially since I
am
not capable of doing heavy mechanical work any more.

How exciting! :-p Are you fixing up your 1994 Taurus, Kyle?

That should have been:
'O Thou Improper, Thou Uncommon Noun: A Bobtailed, Generally Chronological
Listing of Proper Names That Have Become Improper and Uncommonly Common'
by
William Espy (I looked it up on Amazon just now!)

BTW, what are you reading right now? I mean, for fun, if you are. I'm in
the middle of 'The Eyre Affair,' by Jasper Fforde, a very good book.
Friends have been recommending it to me ever since it first came out and
I've finally got around to reading it. I highly recommend it.
