There is a program called NTFSDOS that does what you ask. The free version
gives you read only access to the NTFS partition, but the paid version is
read/write. It is kind of expensive at about $300.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Bootable DOS CD that can recognize NTFS

Have anyone created a bootable CD with DOS that can recognize NTFS
formatted HD? By using a bootable floppy files and "make bootable" function
in most CD writing programs, I can create a bootable DOS CD ok, but it
won't recognize NTFS partitions.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Changhsu Liu
