Ok--I just came from Christmas at my Mom's house and had a really weird
experience. I'm venting so bear with me.

My Mom was there when I was finally diagnosed this year (CS and DH) and
knows how I suffered. So, for dinner on this special day she served
honey baked ham with wheat starch, regular rolls, and a breakfast
casserole with bread baked in. THEN, she was upset that I didn't eat
anything except the broccoli saying "a little bit won't hurt you."

So, last night I came home (starving) and made myself a pork chop and
some corn. I'm feeling sorry for myself and wondering why no one seems
to take this condition seriously. Has anyone else had a similar
experience?
