Hi.....I'm writing for my granddaughter. Her Home Ec. class will be making
whole wheat pretzels and "Monkey Bread" as projects. Her teacher is very willing to allow her to bring alternative flours to class so that she may participate.
Do any of you who have baking experience know if something like the Bette Hagman mix would work for pretzels?
The Monkey Bread (?) will use a tube of buttermilk biscuit mix. Any ideas for a safe substitution?
She wants to be able to take part in her class and has discussed with her teacher the problems of wheat flour in the air, etc. Her teacher will make any adaptions necessary.
Thank you for any ideas.
Carol
