well, richard. the supream court just unaimusly ruled in a case that to
fit the definition of disabled ones condition had to affect substanially the
ability to complete certain major tasks in life. ie eating, dressing,
personal hygene, etc.
agree with the court or not, that is beginning to narrow down who is
covered and who is not. this case was something to do with carpal tunnel
syndron, but, i can see this leading to other narrowing of just what
contitutes a disability for ada purposes.

i just got a 2nd opinion and it matched the first. i have a joint in my
right foot that is out. "the joint is gone". i have a splint on the foot,
but, both a podiatrist (sp) and a orthopedic said the joint really needs to
be fused to keep the bones from rubbibnf together and giving me the
associated pain. not good news, but, that is life.

Are we still sure that we want people who are substance abusers and addicts
on the ADA?

How many people with physical, developmental, cognative or sensory
disabilites have stole over $200,000USD because of their "disabilities"?

These addicts are not disabled, often prey on the disabled and case people
to
not want to enforce or abide by the ADA
