I have a HP 672c printer.  I am getting random horizontal lines through
the text, but not on every line. The lines do not cover the space
between words. Many times the last word in a line is clear.

I purchased a new  ink cartridge.  No change.
I cleaned the rollers in the printer.  No change.

Any suggestions.
