Aldo,

I had similar problems when adding a 256 to my 2 x 128.

I switched locations of the DIMMs a few times.
I appears that all permutations except the initial one works.

Now, I see you did not mix your new DIMMs with old ones,
so maybe there is not much to swap....
Anyway, try at least to reseat the DIMMs.
