A few years ago, I bought a Santec 2-meter HT second hand. I have forgotten the model
number but still have the rig. This thing has no pl tones, and I do not believe there is any
provision for them. It would transmit up to 149.99. But unfortunately, the receiver would not
receive the public service frequencies.

One thing which I always liked about this rig was that if you forgot where you were, it would
return to a default state when you turned off the power and then turned it back on. It of
course did have direct keypad frequency and memory entry.
