>The Loews Theatre Metreon in downtown San Francisco will soon have the
first Rear Window Captioning and DVS Theatrical installation in Northern
California.  We've heard for years from consumers in the area, and are so
pleased to share this good news.  More on the date of installation, likely
in December, when we have confirmation of installation.

>An Industry Leader Honored
>The World Institute on Disability (WID) has honored Sony Pictures with the
WID Media Access Award.  Sony Pictures was presented the award for its
leadership in making first-run movies accessible in theaters for the
nation's deaf, hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired audiences.  In
accepting the award, Sony's president of Worldwide Distribution and
Marketing said, "Moviegoing is, at its core, a communal experience and it
is important to Sony that we make our films accessible to all audiences."

carrying out cutting edge research on disability issues and overcoming
