hey adam,
had you added anything to your system before this started?make sure all
drivers are up to date, and you have the latest versions of the programs you
are running eg:updates.
try your ram in another slot or friends pc.try different browser to
netscape.try free isp to test your system.if all else fails.
reformat and do a clean install.i personally had a lot of problems with
netscape so maybe try another internet browser. add software packages as you
go so that you can monitor if anything is conflicting and causing this
problem.you could try upgrading to win 98se or ME.
also try one of the utilities programs such as norton utilities which i have
found to work very well when i have had problems.
i once had a system with similar problems with frequent errors and lock ups
which was caused by the system unknowingly being placed near a main high
voltage power box...
