who knows what caused me to get ill. rinsing my toothbrush under tap
water? even tho I brushed with bottled? taking that one sip of fruit
juice
diluted with water?

if I had not been on contract to accomplish some work, I think I would
have risked it, just to see what happens. especially for such a short
time, you'll be home before anything major can happen.

even in Peru they put milk in all their soups, even mix it with juice.
yuk.

I definitly stayed away from all bread. sugar. milk. cheese. coffee. I
brought a box of yogi detox tea bags with me for breakfast every
morning.
my husband brought grapfruit seed extract but did not use it. we ate
alot
of papaya, bananas, coconut. and way too much fish with strange sauces
on
them. In Rio we found a health food store that carried goat yoghurt
which
was a relief. I drooled just looking at their salads but was afraid to
touch. next time, I think I'll brave it. perhaps by getting a little
sick
this time around I've already aclimated somewhat.

so tell us how it went when you return.
have a good time with your friend!
