No.  I leave the USB cable for my digicam plugged in all the time, but only
plug in the camera to download photos. Not a problem.

I mostly leave my USB scanner power transformer unplugged
but leave the USB cable hooked to my computer at all times.
Is this a good practice?   This causes minor problems with its own
programs, (see other post), generally "not found"...
Will it harm the scanner or the USB port?
The USB ports are on the back of the case...         Rick Glazier
