I have following problems with new build, Win98. I don't know if problems
are related.

Yellow ! Floppy Disc Controller, Device Mgr. Standard Controller enabled.
Device Mgr says working properly, best driver chosen, and no conflicts.
Uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling produces same result.

Yellow ! Hard Disc Controller, Device Mgr. Intel 82371AB/EB PCI
Controller enabled. Device Mgr says working properly, best driver chosen,
and no conflicts. Uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling produced same
result. 82440BX AGP chipset. Make a difference controller is PCI for AGP
chipset? Intel website fuzzy on which controller to use. Recommends
Microsoft, not Intel, controller be used, but which MS controller? Device
Mgr says all other MS Intel controllers listed are not ones for my
system.

No CD-ROM in My Computer. Have no CD-ROM, but have CD-RW and DVD. Neither
recognized. Both work. Can access CD-ROM from boot disc. Neither CD-RW or
DVD in Device Mgr. Cannot add either with Add New Hardware as asks for
installation discs, and CD-ROM not recognized.

Doing a complete over the top install did not correct any of above.
