Just wanted to add that this is exactly what happened to me. I had the
biopsy after being GF for quite a while- about a year I think- and it still
showed slight damage- just enough to finally give a definitive diagnosis.
Its definitely a tough decision but for those of you who are deciding
whether or not to get tested, do a biopsy etc. I thought I would mention
that being GF doesn't automatically mean your biopsy will be a waste of
time. Mine ended up telling me I needed to be more careful!
