I've read with interest on this list about the Paleo gatherings that are
being organized in various places around the country. I think it's a
great idea and have thought about another idea as well.

Does anyone have any experience with organizing a localized support
group for Paleo folks that can meet regularly for support and the
exchange of ideas on an on-going basis? I would imagine that it might
be difficult in some remote areas, but it seems to me that in more
populous areas it might work out well.

I live in the Chicago area and would be interested in the possibility of
starting something like this. Obviously, the exact location and
frequency of meetings would be dictated by who and how many were
interested since Chicagoland is a pretty big metro in terms of square
miles. Any other Chicago-area Paleo-ites out there on the list? Please
feel free to respond here and/or through private e-mail. And, if anyone
else out there from some other area has done this, I'd love to hear how
it worked out.

Thanks, Chuck
