I would be very interested to find out who wrote this.  If there is anyway
to find out what you were given I would appreciate it.

Interstitial Cystitis is not an infection outside the bladder.  It is not an
infection at all and can not be cured with antibiotics.

It is an inflammation of the bladder wall.  It is an extremely painful
illness and very difficult to live with.  Many people with this condition
are not able to work and live on pain killers.
