<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I want to thank everyone who wrote back after I said I was having pain in my left arm every night for several months. This group is an incredible resource and there is sure a tremendous amount of support here! Now that I have the answer, it seems silly, but it was sure a mystery. Some people said fibrymyalgia can cause these kinds of symtpoms. Problems with my heart or circulation was a big concern. This was also my concern due to heart problems in my family. Several people suggested that I should go to a chiropracter. One person said she had similar symptoms from a reaction to Zoloff. Osteoarthritis was another possibility. Some other possibilities were a trapped nerve in my neck, or back problems. Digestive problems and food allergies can cause pain in joints and muscles. It could also be Referred Sympathetic Dystrophy from an injury. Thanks to everyone who insisted that I see a doctor to find out. She found the answer right away because she could tell that it was the tendons in my arm. So it was a repetition strain injury. I practice the organ every day and this was aggravating my arm because I had strained my shoulder before the arm pain started. I was too relieved to be embarrassed about my ignorance! I had feared that it was probably arthritis or even a heart problem. My pulses, blood pressure, and everything were fine. Then that night I woke up with the worst pain so far. It was in my whole arm and even in my hand! It was so bad I almost decided to go to the emergency room because I was afraid there was something more serious wrong with me! I finally realized that when I was asleep the tendon in my arm was being stretched by the way I was holding it. Now I sleep on that side with my arm curled and voila! no more pain. Suzanne
