Many suggested that I contact the hotel's convention planner and let them know of my dietary restrictions ahead of time, so that a GF meal could be provided if the regular fare wasn't. They also suggested requesting a refrigerator for my room. Here is the list of items that were suggested. Keep in mind that if you have other dietary restrictions besides gluten, these may not all be appropriate for you: 1. Boost or other nutritional drinks 2. Raisins 3. Rice crackers/rice cakes 4. fruit 5. peanut butter 6. Rice krispie type bars 7. Fruit roll-ups 8. Salad dressing 9. Nuts 10.
