<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi, Debora Moes wrote the below. As I had recently purchased an 18 Oz. bottle of Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, but hadn't used it. I decided to check. My label says: Roasted Peanuts, Sugar, Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils(rapseed, cottonseed and soybean) to prevent separation, salt. I called the company using the 800 number on the jar (1-800-338-8831). The person stated that the sugar is "granulated" and the product is gluten free. I questioned about the "icing" sugar and she couldn't really answer the discrepency. I asked about the possibility of different labeling for different countries. She stated that all labels, both here and exported are made and labeled in the US. Guess I'll be eating my Skippy! ------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Debora Moes <[log in to unmask]> Subject: GF Peanut butter peanut butter is GF. I have a bottle of the skippy right here with me and the ingredients lists icing sugar. I was under the understanding that icing sugar is a no no.
