Dear List:
I bought some "Gram flour" (Besan) in an Indian grocery. The owner
assured me, as did some Indian acquaintances,that this was made from
dark lentils. I made bread with it--positiviely delicious--but was sick
like a very sad dog for days. Is   this flour safe?    Is it, in fact,
lentil, or is it "graham" (a  type of wheat?). Help!
