<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear Celiac members, I am a student at the University of Sydney , in New South Wales, Australia. I was diagnosed as suffering from celiac disease a couple of years ago. As part of my degree in Food Technology I have to do a research project. Since I am a celiac myself I decided to make celiac disease the focus of my research. Specifically I am compiling information on world travel for celiacs. Knowing how hard it is to find food which is acceptable to the celiac diet I thought that it would be handy to know where people like myself can find foodstuffs that we can eat when travelling in other countries. I am looking for people who would be willing to help me with information about food suppliers, food additives (if you have them), foods with hidden gluten, support groups and restaurants that are sympathetic to and knowlegeable concerning the celiac diet in your particular country. If you are interested in helping please send me a private e-mail so that I can give you more details of the information needed. On the successful completion of the project, and with permission of the University of Sydney I would be happy to email those who contribute a copy of the finished project. Thank you very much for your invaluable help, Heather Cusiter : [log in to unmask] Mac.
