<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> A couple of years ago, Baskin Robbins published a flyer indicating that many of their products were gluten free, specifically those that did not contain words that would normally signify gluten products, i.e., "cookie, pie, cake." I have happily indulged this treat (despite a lactose intolerance). However, the last time we picked up some PRALINES 'N CREAM in the pre-pack freezer, the ingredients were listed on the lid, and of course MODIFIED FOOD STARCH was an ingredient in the carmel! Here's the question: have they changed their recipes, or did they ever really understand what is required of a gluten free product? Danelle Sorensen Kansas City, KS, USA [log in to unmask]
