<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> =BB I am 4 months pregnant! I have been managing quite well (no morning =BB sickness) and staying pretty strict on my diet. Fortunately, I am not =BB ultra sensitive (vinegar, etc.), because I've been obsessed with =BB pickles. Any advice for the next 5 months, for dealing with the =BB hospital, and the baby? CONGRATULATIONS!!! Baked potatoes with butter and salt really helped my morning sickness, as did almost frozen cottage cheese. There is also (lo-fat) ice cream. You don't have to have saltines and pretzles! As for the hospital, their food is usually the pits but for what you pay in the US to have a baby there, the dieticians should be able to serve you a special meal. Dieticians in hospitals are used to catering to special needs and as long as you specify and REMIND them, there shouldn't be a problem. As for your baby, since there may be the inherited chance of him/her also being a celiac, keep to your diet after the birth (of course) and nurse for as long as you can. There's nothing like mommy's milk - esp. if it's GF! Good luck and let us all know how you are doing! Sharon Marcus [log in to unmask]
