<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I had a similar issue at the Renaissance Festival in Holly Michigan yesterday. Everything resembling protein was in a bun, on bread, in a breadbowl, or breaded (even the hard boiled eggs!), except for the turkey drumsticks. I asked to see the ingredients list for the turkey, and it *looked* ok. The hydrolyzed protein specifically stated it was from milk. It was stuffed with nitrates and nitrites (which is a different problem, but often indicates that the folks making it are not aware of potential health issues). The only real concern was the vague "spice blend". I tried one, and stopped when my tongue started to burn and swell. I don't *know* that it was gluten that triggered it, but I don't know what else it would be. The pickles on a stick are probably fine, and the rootbeer float seemed OK, but options are definitely limited. >> Apparently Comerica Park is not a good place to eat gluten free.
