        Several weeks ago there was a 3 part summary about oxalates. I don't know what oxalates are, so looked it up in Webster's New World College Dictionary. The definition is: #1,  A salt of oxalic acid containing the divalent, negative radical (COO)2.      Definition # 2, an uncharged ester of this acid. 
    Well, I don't know any more than I did before looking in the dictionary! I've had celiac for over 25 years and belonged to this list/serv since May, 2001. This is the first time I can remember a posting specificately about oxalates.  Have never seen a posting about  exactly which foods contain oxalates, etc., their role in our bodies, etc. Could some knowlegable person please post some basic information?
