Even though peanut allergy is not an infectious, communicable disease, 
peanut allergy has been transferred from organ donor to recipient in at 
least two recorded cases.  One case involved transplant of a liver; the 
other a kidney.  Until more research is done, one can only guess how this 
relates to celiac disease.  (???)  Here is a link to one of several articles
