<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear All, Maybe I'm just cynical but I have to keep asking the question - If we cannot even trust buckwheat (which is naturally GF and different to wheat) to be GF due to contamination, can we really believe that specific GF wheat will be reliably uncontaminated? Just think how much there is to be made by mixing ordinary cheap wheat into the "GF" and how easy it would be to do. That's the illegal or Mafia type of risk. How can we guarantee what your ordinary farmer will do! How would the farmer even be able to guarantee that the seed being used wasn't contaminated with ordinary wheat seed? I seriously believe that this would be vastly more dangerous to Coeliacs than the tiny amounts of gluten left in WHO Codex Alimentarius purified wheat starch, which arouses such passion on this list at times, and lead to a serious risk of increased small bowel lymphoma in anyone risking the use of the product.
