got several intersting suggestion for corn syrup substitutions.
Several mentioned "simple syrup" which is usually 2 or 3 parts sugar to
one part water, cooked until all sugar is dissolved.  Cool, store in
frig until needed.

Another gave a formula for using honey....3/4 honey for each cut of conr
syrup.  I'm not exactly sure about this somce the recipes I saw SEEMED
to indicate a one for one sub.  Will just have to try it out....
