thanks to all of you who have been there and sent me info last week..we went
there last saturday and it was great! our gluten-eating freinds who went with
us enjoyed their meals as well....just a note tho..if you go on a saturday
night it is crowded so be patient-call ahead and speak to joanne about the gf
menu-she was very helpful...they definitely dont rush or rush you-it seems
everything is cooked to order
it was just SO nice to be able to go to a restaurant and have a BIG CHOICE of
what i could eat on the menu...also there is no 'official' gluten-free menu
but most everything on the regular menu is avialable gluten-free...i think
there were only two items that were not...and also expect the gluten-free
items to be a few more dollars than whats on the menu..the gf pasta for
example is much more expensive than regular...it was well worth it-i thought
the prices were about average for long island for a good meal
we took a pizza home with us and it is AWESOME...and ALOT better than many of
the 'so called real pizzas' out there like the 'chain' pizza places make..
anyway just wanted to let you all know i enjoyed it immensely and thanks
again for all the info from those who have been there
