Knowing that I have celiac disease, a friend asked me whether there is a connection between gluten ingestion and autism. Her nephew is autistic and the family is desperately looking for ways to help him cope. 
Does anyone have any firsthand information about gluten and autism? If so, would you please share it with me so that I can provide assistance to my friend's nephew?
