I received notification of an upcoming Celiac conference in Casper, WY,
with the request to share this information. If anyone is interested in
this, please e-mail me ASAP, since registration forms need to be in by
APRIL 15.

Wyoming Celiac Conference Saturday, April 20, 2002 Wyoming Medical
Center's Support Services Building in Casper, WY. Registration begins at 1:00.

Cost is $5.00 per person; children 15 and under can attend free
Gluten-free snacks will be provided

Guest speaker will be Dr. Grace Gosar, who lives and practices medicine
in Buffalo WY and has several family members who are celiac. She has
also attended the World Celiac Conference. Dr. Gosar has spoken with
physicians around the state to help them become more aware of gluten
intolerance.

There will also be an opportunity for small group discussions that
relate to you specifically. They will include: (1) Helping children
with celiac, (2) Dealing with dermatitis herpetiformis, (3) How to eat
out safely, (4) Cooking with GF flours, (5) Watching for hidden gluten,

(6) Internet resources for celiacs, and (7) Finding gluten-free
groceries locally.

The conference is scheduled to conclude by 4:00pm so most people can
return home that evening.

One of the goals of this conference is to develop a state-wide celiac
network. It will also hopefully put you in touch with other celiacs
from your area.
