Wow, did I strike a chord or what??
Anyway, thanks to all of you - about 30 so far - who replied. I will try to
answer each one individually, but the general tone is that we are sharing
the same experience, that it makes us unhappy (in a lot of cases), that we
ARE HEALTHY even though overweight, and that clearly we need to find ways to
manage our diets. Briefly, my history et is this:
I was biopsy-diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago, weight around 9 and a bit stone.
Post-diagnosis, I immediately increased to 10-ish, and a year later was
hovering near 11 stone. I'm 5'4"so am definitely overweight for my build.
WOrking out at the gym turned th flab into muscle, and I hate the gym!
Walking the dogs doesn't burn off the calories but I'll work out something.

Anyway, all the responses have been encouraging, helpful, - it's good to
know I'm not the only one. I have replied to the list as it may be that we
can maintain some useful tips this way.

Thanks again
Sue
