Hi Everyone,
Due to itching and a rash that won't quit, my (new) dermatologist tested me for DH, feeling quite sure that's what was going on. The tests (2) came back negative, but she still thinks it's DH and is thinking I should go on Dapsone for a short time to see if it all clears up.

Here's what's odd. I've been gluten free since 1997! I do realize that I may be injesting gluten unknowingly by eating in restaurants, but still...isn't it odd that I'd develop DH now?

Has anyone out there EVER received a negative biopsy for DH, but had their doctor recommend Dapsone anyway??? It all seems kind of odd to me. Is there anything else DH sufferers use that helps besides dapsone? I'm so confused...

Thanks for your help.

Kathy G.
