Dear Listmates,

A 74 year old support group member , who was just diagnosed with CD, has
asked me to post for her.  She has had several episodes of tingling
starting in her pelvis and then continuing through her body, followed by
nauseas and dry heaves.  Two of the episodes occurred at night and one
during the day.  Her doctor had no explanation, but she thinks it is due
to the CD.   I suspected her medication, but she claims her only new
med. is calcium.  She lost nearly 60 pounds before being diagnosed and
has managed to gain only 2 pounds back.
She has a very poor appetite and will not cook for herself.  I am trying
very hard to work one on one with her.  I have suggested Ensure and V-8,
but I don't know if she will follow through.  Her husband died a year
ago, so I believe this is a big part of her problem-she is still in
mourning.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  TIA
