Hi Listmates,

Both Hodgson Mill Yellow Corn Meal and Hodgson Mill Buckwheat Flour are gluten free.  You can verify by calling 1-800-525-0177.

I use the buckwheat flour to make buckwheat pancakes and waffles.  The recipe for the pancakes is on the back of the box and they are delicious.  I bought an inexpensive waffle maker from Walmart (around $10) and use the same pancake recipe for the waffles and they are yummy too.  The waffles also freeze well.

I was looking for a less expensive corn meal that I could buy in the regular grocery store instead of the health food store and was pleased to find the one by Hodgson Mill today.  I was happy to learn that it was also GF.
