If pesticides are suspected as the cause of reaction to either an oil or
other type of food, you might try the "organically grown" version even
though they tend to be pricey. If you don't have local sources, you can
get organically grown veggies mailorder from Walnut Acres
(1-800-433-3998) in Walnut Creek, Pennsylvania USA. They definitely have
organic canola oil, extracted from certified organic seeds. Item #87002,
$8.99 for 1 qt plus shipping costs. They also have organic olive oils,
one import and one from California. The California olive oil costs $10.95
for 250 milliliters (Item #87014); the imported oil is $8.99 for 12.7 oz.
Both are extra virgin olive oil.
