Hi All,
First, I'd like to thank Laura for her insightful discussion of the
Lancet article. Her comments make a lot of sense.

On the other hand, there is an interesting report suggesting that
hypertension may be the result of  dietary  salt deficiency :

The article provides some interesting data and arguments.

I'm not suggesting it is correct. I don't know. But I do find it
a fascinating challenge to the dominant paradigm.  These variations
in perspective are difficult for people who have to make a choice,
sometimes betting their life on that perspective.
