I was reading a cookbook and ran across an ingredient called gf yeast!!??
of course with my diet restrictions I see anything containing yeast, wheat,
wheat germ, wheat..., yeast....., I don't cook it nor do I buy it.  But it
has always been my understanding that yeast comes from wheat.  Am I wrong
on this?  I try and stay away from yeast but if it's gf do I dare and try
it?  Anyone know anything about this stuff? thanks.
